Firearms and Weapons

Required Documents: (1) Certificate of registration (2)Valid Passport (3) Proof of ownership (4) Gun license

Customs Regulations: Duty free if firearms have been used personally by the owner for at least six months in a

foreign country. Owner must apply for a German ownership permit.

Clearance: Time varies. Please pack guns in an accessible locations, as they may have to be removed.

Household Goods and Personal Effects

Required Documents: (1) Certificate of registration (2) Valid Passport (3) Inventory in German or English (4)

Declaration signed by customer that no high valued tax goods are contained in his HHG

Customs Regulations: Used HHG are duty free if owner has used the objects personally for at least six months in a

foreign country.

Clearance: 3 days. Customer presence required for clearance? No

Remarks: Customs authorities reserve the right to make a visitation of the goods before delivery.

New Furniture

Required Documents:

• Commercial Invoice
• Packing list
• Copy of B/L
• Certificate of Origin

Customs Regulations: Customer has to pay customs duties and import tax

Clearance: 3 days. Customer presence required for clearance? No

Pets and Animals

Required Documents: Health certificate issued by competent veterinary surgeon, at the place of origin abroad. This certificate must be in German.

Customs Regulations: Importation admitted provided no symptom or suspicion of infectious illness is shown. No case of rabies of rabies has been notified within a radius of 20km from the place of origin of the animal during the previous 3 months.

Clearance: 3 days. Customer presence required for clearance? No

Remarks: The Health certificate is valid 10 days (20 days for animals coming from non-European countries) from the date which this has been made out.

Vehicles
